Egypt is one of those places we may have dreamed about or known about but may not have had the opportunity to visit.  This unique tour offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience Egypt with a custom guided program that combines Nature, History, Adventure, and Spiritual Experiences in some of the most magnificent spots in the world.

Jan has fallen in love with the Western Desert, and from her deep longing to share its peace and beauty, She and Danielle are inviting a small group of people (24) to join them on this transformational journey.
The group will gather on November 19, 2017 in Cairo where we will visit the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx, and there in Ghori we will witness the Sufi Dervish Dancers.
Some other highlights of the trip include visits to many sites in Bahariya with a stay in the Old Oasis Hotel. We plan a night in the White Desert dancing and camping under the stars with the Bedouin people. We will visit the warm, welcoming Hathor Chalet surrounded by desert farms of the Oasis people and enjoy the sun, the clear skies and clean air, filled with the essence of orange trees, date palms and roses. There we can relax in the hot springs, nap in the hammocks and enjoy the incredible quiet where no plane has flown overhead in the past 8 years!  We will also stay on the West Bank of the Nile overlooking tombs and temples where we will create ceremony together. For 15 glorious days and 14 nights, we will gather in intention circles, celebrate the elements, share initiations with Danielle, delve into Shamanic Drumming with Friedel (owner of Hathor Chalet), practice meditation, co-create community, and experience Sacred Circle Dance led by Jan and Friedel

My spiritual trip to Egypt with Jan is a once in a lifetime journey for which I am forever grateful. I have rebirthed into who I truly am, empowered and fully living my purpose.

Thank you . Danielle -California

El Qasr is the longest continuously inhabited site in Dakhla. There are still original, interestingly decorated buildings to visit as no new construction is permitted within the old city. A modern gleaming white mosque stands outside the walls of the old city while just inside an old tapering mud-brick minaret soars above the houses. There are buildings with carved wooden door lintels with Koranic inscriptions, which date back 500 years. The streets are narrow and covered in places. There are many low parts supported with ancient palm beams that you have to duck under. Some of the buildings rise upwards for some 4 stories. Ancient kilns have been found that show that pottery is not a new handicraft here in Dakhla. The Ayyubid Nasr al-Din mosque and the House of Abu Nafir provide examples of traditional Islamic buildings. The House of Abu Nafir is built on the site of a temple and hieroglyphs can be seen on the old door jambs. One of the most interesting rooms is found at the Court of the Madrasa, it has red and white decoration and high windows letting in shafts of sunlight. It was used as a school for Islamic sects and as the courthouse. Outside the walls near the Court of the Madrasa you can still see the place where criminals convicted in the courthouse were hung.
