Day 1:  Cairo


Welcome to Cairo! Your tour begins when you are greeted by Egypt Unlimited Tours representative who will assist you through immigration and customs formalities. then take you in our deluxe vehicle to your Cairo hotel.

Day 2: Giza Sightseeing Tours
 

After breakfast at the hotel in Cairo your own private English speaking Egyptologist guide will take you to Sakkara that is part of Memphis's massive necropolis, and the burial site of the most ancient Pharaohs where you will see the first pyramids ever built in Egypt "Step Pyramid of King Djoser that was designed by Imhotep, the ancient Egyptian architect also you will visit the Teti Pyramid and tombs in Sakkara then you will be transferred to Memphis the ancient Capital of Egypt to visit the colossal statue of Ramses II and nearby a still half-buried Hathor Temple then a relaxing drive to the famous Giza Plateau home of Egypt’s greatest attractions to visit The Great Pyramids One of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world including the Great Pyramid of Cheops, middle pyramids of Chephren and the little one of Mykerinos with camel ride and family photo in front of Pyramids, then visit the mysterious Sphinx, the Father of Terror for the ancient pharaohs, the tour includes visit to the valley temple facing the great sphinx with option visit to the solar boat this was a boat used to carry the pharaoh’s mummy across the Nile, and then buried at the foot of the pyramid for his use in the afterlife  then you will be transferred back to your hotel for a peaceful over night stay in Cairo

Day 3: Cairo Sightseeing Tours / Aswan


Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel in Cairo and then you will be accompanied by your private Egyptologist tour guide to visit the world-renowned Museum of Egyptian Antiques that was built in new classical style designed by the French architect Marcel Dourgnon which exhibits a collection now over 120000 masterpieces ranges from pre-dynastic era, Pharaonic era to the Greco-roman period in Egypt including the treasures of the child King Tutankhamen, Pharaonic Gods and Goddess, with option visit to the mummies room at the Egyptian Museum where you may learn about the Great Egyptian civilization and the mummification art in ancient Egypt. Then you will also visit the Citadel of Salah din that is overlooking the city from the Muqattam Hills and Mohammed Ali Alabaster Mosque inside that was built in Turkish style and very similar to the Blue Mosque in Turkey and simply considered to be one of the landmarks in Cairo whose minaret can be seen from any part of old Cairo then visit the Christian heritage in Coptic Cairo including some of the early religious monuments of the city such as the hanging church or the suspended church this basilica church was named for its location on top of the south gate of the Fortress of Babylon the church became the center of the Christian Church of Egypt you will visit also the famous Jewish heritage in Cairo including Ben Ezra Synagogue the temple contains a Jewish heritage library, containing documents found here in 1896 that describe the economic and social conditions of Jews under Arab rule as well as descriptions of relations between various Jewish sects from there you will be transferred to Giza train terminal to board your first class sleeper train to Aswan with dinner and overnight stay on board.

Day 4: Aswan / 4 day Nile cruise holiday 


Enjoy breakfast with sunrise view before arriving Aswan, where you will be met by your guide who will accompany you to visit the High dam, which provides electricity and irrigation for much of Egypt, the granite quarries that provided ancient Egypt with building materials and the unfinished Obelisk It would have been the largest piece of stone ever handled but when a crack was discovered it was abandoned where it was being hewn. Cross by boat to Angilika Island, where the Philae Temple of Isis has long colonnades, towers and reliefs depicting and honouring the gods. Sail by felucca to Kitchener's Island and fantastic botanical gardens then sail back to the cruise for free time at leisure and overnight stay.

Day 5: Nile Cruise


Breakfast onboard your cruise ship in Aswan and then sail to visit Kom Ombo. The Temple there is unique, for it is dedicated to two gods: Sobek the crocodile god of fertility and the falcon-headed Horus, god of the sky. There are depictions of Pharaohs and Roman emperors paying homage to various gods, texts in hieroglyphics and even relief's depicting a series of surgeon's instruments. An afternoon sailing brings you to the huge Ptolemaic Temple of Horus at Edfu. Begun in 237BC, dedicated in 142BC and built from the great blocks of sandstone, it is the most complete and best-preserved of the Egyptian temples. Two statues of the falcon god Horus flank the twin-towered entrance gate and the inside are many columns, numerous halls, chambers and chapels and an interesting inscription on one wall listing the titles of the books (scrolls) held in the library, free time at leisure and overnight on board.

Day 6: Nile Cruise 


Continue sail down the timeless River Nile and watched daily life on its banks. During the cruise your knowledgeable Egyptologist tour guides will talk about the art and architecture of Ancient Egypt and give you invaluable insights into the mysteries of the Pharaohs and their fascinating culture. You'll pass through the busy lock at Esna on route for Luxor. Today you will tour the gigantic Karnak Temple complex, which is the world's largest ancient religious site and one of the most visited places in Egypt. It was built and enlarged over a thirteen hundreds year period under the reigns of numerous Pharaohs. The colossal craved-granite columns have to be seen to be believed. Tonight you can join us for an amazing optional evening Sound and Light show in the Temple precincts tells the story of Luxor and Karnak.

Day 7: Nile Cruise

 

Breakfast onboard the cruise in Luxor then you will be escorted by your guide to cross the West Bank of the Nile to the site of Ancient Thebes, one of the most important archaeological sites in the world. Visit the hugely impressive, colonnaded and terraced Temple of Hatshepsut, built into an amphitheatre out of a high cliff face. In the beautifully decorated rock-cut tombs in the Valley of the kings, the colour and the detail of the drawings, of deities and scenes from the Book of the Underworld, are breathtaking. The most visited tombs have walkways and electric lighting, and the vibrant colours of the paintings are protected by glass, free time at leisure in Luxor on your own to discover the local people and from there you will be transferred to Luxor hotel for check in.

Day 8: Luxor / Sharm El Sheikh Holiday

Day 10: Optional Excursions to Ras Mohammed National Park

Ras Mohammed National Park is both a terrestrial and an aquatic nature reserve. The 480 square kilometre protected area lies where the Gulf of Suez meets the Gulf of Aqaba at Sinai's southern extremity. The arid desert terrain of sand dunes, gravel plains, fossilized corals and Granite Mountains is home to a number of rare mammal species: Dorcas gazelle, Nubian ibex and red fox. Easier to spot are the resident birds like terns, herons, gulls and ospreys. Thousands of white storks pass through Ras Mohammed each year, heading south during September/October and back north during April/May. About 85 flora species live in the park, including mangroves.

Day11: Optional Safari Trip to Colored Canyon From Sharm

One of the natural wonders of the Sinai, the Colored Canyon is awe-inspiring. Take a walk in between dramatic sandstone canyon walls streaked with melting yellows, purples, reds, magentas and gold. In certain places the canyon walls reach up to 40 meters. You feel as if you are enclosed in a spectacular coloring book.

Day 12: Optional Trip to St. Catherine Monastery From Sharm

The Monastery of St. Katherine lies at the foot of the Gebel Musa, or Mount Moses, in the heart of the South Sinai. Fronted by gardens and cypress trees, the monastery is owned and run by the Greek Orthodox Church. Its rich library houses the world's second largest collection of illuminated manuscripts after the Vatican. You can see the Burning Bush and a large number of antique works of art: invaluable icons, beautifully carved doors, exquisite wall paintings and other fine religious ornaments.

Day 13: Sharm El Sheikh / Cairo / home ( Final Departure )
